The organisers of the Real Open Golf (ROG) tournament have decided to extend the 2008 season to 19th April 2009 to allow for more scores to be entered.
With the new website going live in June,ROG didnt think it gave members much time to play competitions and get their scores on to the Leaderboard.
Another reason for the extension was the change to last years rule of having two scores for qualification to four scores. Remember ROG now excepts Stableford and Medal scores.
It is hoped that the extension will help members reach the four score target more easily.
With Christimas approaching, competitions are few and far between, so ROG hopes the extension will give everyone the chance to enter more scores before this season ends on 19th April 2009. Those with best four scores in the top 100 will be coming to our Grand Final at the Belfry 9th May 2009.
